The Passing of the Torch

It is a weakness in our society today that there is something of a generational divide, with few opportunities existing for regular, meaningful interaction between those in different stages of life.

However, this is a strength of the church, and one like ours with people of all ages who gather together as one community around Christ.

In this sermon at the memorial service for our beloved friend Ray Biggar, on October 13th 2018, Mark Coleman explains from the example of Ray’s life the importance for the older generation to pass on their godly wisdom and experience to those younger than them, and for the younger generation to be wanting to receive this from those older.

This is an encouraging message for everyone in our church to hear.
