North Shore Community Baptist Church is a community of believers where, with God's help, each person has a growing passion to love and follow Jesus Christ, characterized by a deepening knowledge of God, involvement in biblical community, and participation in efforts to reconcile others to the Lord.

The Values Statement (below) is the foundation and the code that determines how we will act as a Body of believers in carrying out our vision and mission.

Spiritual Development
We will be a Body of Believers who are coming to know, love and serve the Lord with increasing passion.
1. The spiritual development of each person will be based on the fundamentals of our commitment to Christ, study and obedience to Scripture, prayer, corporate worship and ministry.
2. Each person will meet with others to receive assistance and encouragement in their spiritual growth and development of Christian character.
3. Each believer will be helped to identify and exercise his/her spiritual gifts.
4. Each believer will be encouraged to celebrate spiritual disciplines.

Biblical Community
We will be a Community of Believers where people are loved, supported, and challenged to love and follow Jesus Christ.
1. As a community of believers, we will establish a loving and accepting environment in which each person is welcomed
and encouraged to grow spiritually, be involved in ministry, and become committed to this body of believers.
2. We will seek to be a family for those without a close support network.
3. Each person will have a few key relationships characterized by understanding, support and accountability.
4. Our corporate Worship Service will be the main gathering of our community. We will seek to enable people to be fully involved in worship.
5. As a community of believers, we will be aware of and responsive to the needs and joys of our members.
6. We will limit administration and overhead to that which is needed to effectively achieve our ministry goals.

Balanced Outreach
Motivated by God's compassion and love, our outreach will include the proclamation of the Gospel and ministry to social and physical needs, both locally and throughout the world.
1. We will be people who know, care about and are involved in meeting the needs of others.
2. All our outreach will be undergirded by prayer.
3. Each person will be given opportunity to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to reach out effectively to people in their sphere of influence, and will be involved in some form of outreach.
4. Corporate activities--some done in cooperation with other local churches and ministries--will support and supplement the outreach of individuals.
5. We will be a world-focused church involved in reaching the world for Christ.
