The reason we gather together for services of worship, above all reasons, is because we are commanded to do so by our Lord. It is an act of obedience. We come as individual and continual worshipers, pouring ourselves out to God as one body, through the singing of praises, praying of prayers, and attentiveness to the proclamation of the Word. In this communal act God is glorified and exceedingly pleased. Additionally, as we sing, receive the sacraments, and listen to the Word of God read aloud and preached, our affections for God are raised and a glimpse of paradise enlightens our pilgrimage.

As worshipers, we strive toward the following goals:

  1. To meet as a family of believers, involving youth and adults, in order to praise God for who He is and to celebrate together because of His great works, especially in redemption.
  2. To express praise to God through prayer, the reading of Scriptures, the preaching of His Word, the giving of our tithes and offerings, and the ministry of music.
  3. To provide an atmosphere that is conducive to the Body of Christ meeting with God, marked by a balance between reverence and warmth, dignity and joy.
  4. To uphold the ordinances of Baptism and the Lord's Supper.
  5. To support through regular participation and prayer the Church's services of worship.

What is our service like?
Many a church has been divided around worship styles. As a congregation, we have worked hard at building a service that blends contemporary worship with traditional worship.
