College Ministry: Connections

One goal of the college ministry is to connect students with the congregation. Here are some of the events that the college ministry hosts for getting connected to others, and opportunities around the church that are particularly suited to college students.

College events:

College Life Meetings
Join us every Tuesday night at 7pm for food, Bible study, prayer, and games. We meet at the Tuck’s House (5 Gussett Road, Wenham). During these gatherings we consider how faith connects with our daily lives and influences our relationships, decisions, future, and more.

Monthly College Lunch
One Sunday per month, after the second service, we host lunch for any interested students. Enjoy a homemade meal, meet people, and find out more about the church. Van transport to Gordon College will be provided after lunch. Lunches are held on the first Sunday of each month. For menus, see our Facebook page.

College Outings
About once per semester, the college group organizes an outing to some part of the North Shore or New England. From hikes to movies to sightseeing, these outings are a fun way to get connected to the church, connect your friends with the college ministry, and see the area. For dates and activities, see our Facebook page.

Occasional College Service Project
At various points throughout the year we’ll organize opportunities for the college ministry to serve our community and those in need. In the past, our group has served at a soup kitchen on the North Shore and even planned a trip to NYC. Follow our Facebook page if you’re interested in a service project in the near future.
