Men’s First Praise

MFP title

Statement of Purpose

As Christian men we recognize a call by our sovereign God, a call made manifest by our Lord Jesus Christ, to seek each other out in discipleship, fellowship and worship.

We acknowledge that we live in a sinful world that promotes isolation, temptation and the rejection of support from other men. Knowing this, we are committed to the worship of God, believing in salvation through Jesus Christ, guidance by the Holy Spirit and the promotion of godly relationships amongst men.

Understanding that the world’s view will not support us in these efforts, we will remain steadfast in our daily walk with Christ. To this end, we will continue to look to God and to first give Him praise.

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16.

What we do
Men’s First Praise meets on the first Saturday of every month. We gather at 7:30am for refreshments and coffee. At 7:45 we begin with worship, followed by a speaker and discussion. We finish our time with prayer and worship ending by 8:45. Men ages 13 and up are welcome.
