Outreach Philosophy

We strive to fulfill the Great Commission by means of the following goals:

  1. To keep the need and urgency of evangelism constantly before us.
  2. To develop skills and confidence for the work of evangelism.
  3. To proclaim the historical, biblical Christ as Savior and Lord, with a view to persuading people to come to Him personally in order to be reconciled to God.
  4. To personally make ourselves available to God as a witness for Him, and to depend on the leading of the Holy Spirit in our lives as we seek to proclaim the gospel of Christ to others by our words and by our conduct.
  5. To make disciples of our family, friends and acquaintances through verbal witness, intercessory prayer, loving service and training in the Christian life.

  1. To nurture our understanding of and commitment to the missionary task of the church.
  2. To actively encourage and support the raising up of world partners (both long and short term) from within the fellowship of the church.
  3. To support the church’s world partners, at home and abroad, by prayer, encouragement and giving, for the advancement of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

  1. To promote biblical social concern and justice in our community and world.
  2. To respond with appropriate Christian action to the needs of both individuals and organizations.
  3. To contribute of our resources for the support of the poor within the church, community and world.
