NSCBC Live
Downtown Dinner 2023

We are looking forward to another year of serving our local community of people in need by providing a once a month meal on the 4th Wednesday evening and serving it at the Living Faith UMC in downtown Beverly. We are looking for additional people to prepare a basic main dish or side dish for one of our monthly dates. Dessert, set up, serving, and cleanup, is provided by our current faithful volunteers. Contact Nanette or Jim Maden at Nanjimal@aol.com.
Sunday Evening Services

Prayer
- World focus:
We pray for our global workers serving in South Asia. Pray that as many of these workers both train pastors and churches, and do the essential work of Bible translation, that they would be gifted and emboldened by the power of God in them. We pray that they would be encouraged and spurred on as they work to see Gospel Movements in their region.
- Community focus:
We praise God for the weekly Alpha meetings in a nearby women’s prison. We pray that seeds planted this weekend at the Alpha women’s weekend would bring healing and restoration in the lives of these women.
- Congregation:
We pray for the Wallace family as Richard faces ongoing health concerns. We pray for the Olmsteds in this time of transition. We pray for Pat Cameron as she struggles with a pulmonary disease. We pray for Bruce Sperr as he recovers from a blood clot. We pray for our world partners M & S, serving in Western Asia, as S is undergoing chemotherapy treatment for cancer. We pray for Rita Kearney as she mourns the passing of her mother.
- Do you have prayer concerns? Email prayer@nscbc.org, submit at nscbc.org/live, or call the church office.
