NSCBC member and elder Mark Fitzgerald is responding with his foundation, Project Espwa. Since founding Project Espwa in 2010, Mark continues to return to Haiti regularly to provide basic relief: building homes, providing clothing, and basic medical supplies.
When Mark returns next in January, he’ll meet a 40′ container filled with donated goods to be distributed to the people of Fion, Haiti. “As best we can assess, the most significant losses were household goods and clothing, due to flooding,” said Mark.
The Outreach Ministries Fund of NSCBC will contribute approximately half the cost of the shipping container, making more funds available to purchase building supplies.
Through Outreach Ministries Fund, NSCBC contributes to projects that advance evangelistic and social service needs both local and worldwide. An exciting part of OMF is that the requests often offer an opportunity to support the individual ministries of our very own church members and missionaries we have sent abroad. Project Espwa is a perfect example of this type of request.
