Help with watching this video

The live stream will appear here at about 9:45am prior to the 10am service on Sunday morning. If you are unable to see a video after 9:45am wait a minute and refresh your page or reopen it again from the main menu.

Sound - To make sure you can hear the service well check that the sound on the video isn't muted, and drag the volume bar up full. Also make sure the volume on your computer or device is turned up.

If the live stream drops from this page during the service, it should return again soon. The service is also streaming on our Facebook page so you could check if it is working there by clicking here. You will not need a Facebook account to see this page from a laptop or computer. If prompted to sign in, look for the option to say 'Not Now' if you don't have a Facebook account.

Upcoming Events

The Fall 2020 Church Directory is complete! Download the digital PDF here. NSCBC is a congregation-affirmed, pastor-led, elder-governed, and deacon-served church. We are seeking recommendations for those who can serve as Elders and Deacons-at-Large. In order to serve, one must be a member of NSCBC. You can submit recommendations using this form. All recommendations must be filled out by, Tuesday, Oct. 27! Learn more about the requirements of the positions here. If you have any questions, contact Jill Stutz at Help us honor Melissa and Greg Lowther and wish them well as they move to Pennsylvania in November! One way that we would like to celebrate the Lowthers is by writing them cards to encourage them through the various upcoming milestones. To participate, please (1) sign up for a topic from this list, (2) write a note with an encouraging word, funny story, scripture reference, etc., (3) write the topic name on the envelope of your card, and (4) turn it in at the event! You can also record a brief video message to them here! One of our World Partners, Bethany Tennent, serving in a remote village in Tanzania, will be visiting the North Shore the last week of October. Join us to hear about the work that God is doing through Bethany as she seeks to advance the kingdom and to reach the Alagwa people with the gospel. Please join us in the Family Room at NSCBC on Thursday, Oct. 29th at 7pm for this time of sharing and fellowship. Please RSVP here in advance. For those who participated in the first Zoom book discussion on Be the Bridge: Pursuing God's Heart for Racial Reconciliation, we'll discuss chapters 3–6 on Oct. 26, 7:30–9pm. Join us with this Zoom link! NSCBC is encouraging our whole congregation to participate in a 3-month Bible reading plan beginning September 14. By reading just one chapter a day (~10 minutes), 6 days/week, we will be able to read all four Gospels (the first-hand accounts of the life of Jesus) by Christmas Day. We will provide a Bible reading checklist and other resources for you along the way.
