Small Groups

Small Groups are geographically-organized gatherings where following Jesus is practiced in community and, as a result, we grow in our faith and form meaningful relationships with others. They are typically between 8-16 people that gather weekly or bi-weekly to study the bible, pray together, and serve the community. At their heart, they are a small local expression of the church.

How to join a Small Group

The majority of groups meet on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, September-June. You can browse open small groups here and fill out the form below to get placed into a group. Questions? Email Richard Wallace, our small groups coordinator at smallgroups@nscbc.org. Fill Out the Small Group Interest Form

Discipleship Groups

Discipleship Groups (aka "D-Groups") are four-person, same-gendered groups that meet weekly for one year with the intent to multiply. The heart behind discipleship groups is to provide a structure for spiritual practices to grow in our lives: Bible reading, obedience to God, openness to one another, and mission to the world.

How to join a D-Group

Unlike small groups, D-Groups are leader-initiated. As groups conclude their year of intentional discipleship, new groups form from within our community. If you are interested in joining a D-Group, fill out this interest form, and we will share your info with future D-Group leaders. Fill Out the Discipleship Group Interest Form
