On Sunday 27th January 2019 the church celebrated the ordination of Pastor Ben Friedman. As part of this service Ben’s first Christian mentor and college track coach, Gary Cramer, gave a challenging charge to him. We’re sharing this message on the blog because we think that this charge is both encouraging and challenging for all of us. It’s also a good reminder of ways that we can be praying for our pastors.
Gary tells the story of transformation in Ben’s life from self proclaimed “militant” atheist to follower of Jesus, and reminds Ben how important it is to remember the beginning part of this story throughout his ministry.
